Pastor
of Outreach Ministries, Rev. Earline M. Gentry was born in Los Angeles,
California. She is a servant of God called to proclaim the Gospel.
She is a wife, mother and grandmother. She is an accomplished Poet
and is a member of the International Society of Poetry. She is an
inspirational speaker and founder of God's Poetry Everlasting Art
Ministries that was created to provide oral, written and visual inspiration
with lasting effect.
Several of her poems have been published in the church newsletter,
anthology books and local newspapers. She has been interviewed by
some of the local radio stations and she has had opportunities to
share some of her poetry on the radio. Her work was featured in El
Camino College's Lamppost Newsletter.
Rev. Gentry accepted her call to the ministry in 1991 and she became
an ordained Elder in the AME Church in 1996. She earned her Bachelors
Degree in Christian Counseling from La Verne University and completed
her Masters Degree in Religion from Pacific Theological University.
She is pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Christian Counseling.
Rev. Gentry was one of the original members of New Philadelphia.
As Pastor of Outreach Ministries, she was selected as one of the honorees
for Research and Status of Black Women Awards Ceremony and received
recognition for her work in the church and the community at large.
