Assistant
Pastor, Rev. Ronnie E. White, a native of Garland, Texas moved to
Los Angeles following his three-year tour of duty in the U.S. Army.
In 1969, he met Ms. Pearl M. Lockhart, a native of Mississippi, and
they were joined in Holy Matrimony in 1970. They are the proud parents
of two sons, Ronnie and Christopher White and the grandparents of
one granddaughter, Chloe Elena Jasmine White.
Rev. White served as a faithful Deacon at New Mount Pleasant Missionary
Baptist Church for nine years. He accepted the call from God to preach
the Gospel in October 1992. He was ordained to preach and teach the
Gospel the following year.
Rev. White attended Bethany Bible College and California State University
at Dominguez Hills for two years. In 1998, he and his wife Pearl united
with the New Philadelphia AME Church Family. Rev. White enrolled in
the AME school system and completed all of the required courses. In
addition to his Assistant Pastor responsibilities, Rev. White also
faithfully serves as the Minister of Visitation.
