Lady, Mrs. Marina Bilbrew Gordon was born in Harbor City, California
on April 29, 1973 to the proud parents of Willie and Candon Bilbrew.
At the young age of 5 years, Marina had questions about salvation
and eagerly accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.
Mrs. Gordon received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University
of California at Berkeley in Economics in 1995. She intends to continue
her education by attaining a Masters degree in Business Administration.
She was employed with Nabisco Biscuit Company as a Territory Manager
where she enhanced her administrative skills through the management
of various districts and employees. In September 1997, Mrs. Gordon
left her position in order to work diligently with her husband in
the establishment of New Philadelphia AME Church.
Mrs. Gordon's involvement with "Nu Philly" has been numerous.
She started the Marina Gordon Women's Missionary Society where she
held the office of President for three years. She has worked as a
Sunday School and New Members teacher and is currently the Director
of the G.A.N.G. (God's Anointed Nu Generation) and is a member of
the Praise Team.
In 1999, Mrs. Gordon took on a new ministry educating people about
God's plan for prosperity by becoming a licensed Financial Advisor
with A.M. Forward Thinking / SunAmerica Securities. Her goal is to
educate others how God blesses us financially so that we will be a
blessing to His ministry. She teaches full financial planning including
investment, retirement, insurance, college planning and estate planning.
Mrs. Gordon is on fire for the Lord and plans to be an effective
leader in sharing God's Word through her work in ministry and as the
First Lady New Philadelphia.
