A.M.E. Church Founder’s Day, Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011. A Worship Service will be held at First A.M.E., 2270 South Harvard Blvd., L A. at 4:00 p.m.
The Children, Youth and Teen Praise Dance Ministry has resumed. Praise Dance rehearsal is each Sunday at 12:00 Noon.
The WORD Ministry Quarterly Breakfast Fellowship will be held on Sat., Feb. 12th at 9:00 a.m. in C. Butler Hall. Rev. Earline Gentry will be our Speaker. Ladies of all ages are invited to attend; there is no cost, just your presence.
The Seasoned Saints are seeking new members. If you are 55 years and older and would like to join an active group of seniors, please sign-in up today in the REACH Enrichment Center. One of the
Seasoned Saints members will assist you and give you more information about the ministry.
The Stewardess Board needs dedicated women to commit to service. This ministry supports the Stewards by preparing the implements and elements of Holy Communion and Holy Baptism; preparing the Pastor’s pulpit table, and other important duties related to the support of the Worship Service. Please contact Pam Pitcher for more information.
The Health & Wellness Ministry needs a licensed Nurse to help with first aid during the Sunday 7:30 a.m. Worship Service. If you have this vocation and are willing to serve, please contact Connie Seale.
Volunteers are needed to work with the Audio/Video Dept. If interested in joining this ministry, stop by the Audio/Video Room and meet with Brenda Josenberger or Bill Streeter.
All new members who have not completed the "Christian Enhancement Program" are encouraged to do so. Classes are each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the Moses Room, except on the 1st Sunday when the classes are at 8:00 a.m.

We request all children, youth, and teens, both male and female, who wish to be a part of this great ministry to assemble in Children's Church immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service today. Next Sunday is 5th Sunday, the Women's Missionary Society will be in White. All other ladies are asked to wear the WORD Ministry colors, Purple, Black, or Gold.
Each member is asked to pay their Conference Claims, $100.00, by the 1st Sunday in February (02/06/11).

Church Conference
On Monday, January 10, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., we will hold our first Church Conference for this new year. All ministers, officers, auxiliary presidents, and church members are asked to please attend this meeting to receive an update from the Pastor and the Executive Board regarding where we are spiritually and financially, what we have accomplished, and the plans for the future. You do not want to miss this very important meeting.
