An AARP Event — Pastor Walker and the New Philadelphia will host the AARP event, “The Real Role of Parents and Grandparents in educating the Next Generation”, on Monday, November 7, 2011, from 10:00 a.m.—1: 00 p.m. Pick up a flyer in the Foyer.
Blood Pressure Screenings offered on Sunday November 13th and signup for flu shots offered on December 4th will begin. Health and Wellness need a number for the nurse who will bring the vaccine by the end of November.
New Philadelphia A.M.E. 2012 Pictorial Directory — We are preparing for our 2012 Pictorial Directory. All N.P.A.M.E members will be able to sign up for your family portraits. You will receive a FREE Directory and $25 Portrait Gift Certificate. We will be starting our campaign TODAY for your family portraits. So come and sign up! Don't forget tell you family and friends. All are welcome. Signups will be held on Sunday after each service in the foyer. Orlin Mills will be here Thursday January 5th 2011 @ 9:20am to start taking pictures. See Beatrice Smith for detail.

Bus Transportation to the Annual Conference on October 27th
%24-%10-%2011, %RPermalinkPastor Walker is reading his report to the Bishop and the 5th District So. California Annual Conference on Thursday, October 27, 2011, between the 10:00 am - 12:00 pm hours. Pastor Walker would like 150 members in attendance for this reading.
In the evening at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Walker is the pastor in charge for the Sons of Thunder Men's Night.
New Philadelphia has bus transportation available for both of these events. The bus holds 47 passengers. Those who signed up have first priority. There are 19 seats open for the morning trip, and 37 open seats for the evening service.
The cost is $10.00 for a single trip, and $15.00 to go to both events. The fee will be collected as you board the bus. Please have correct change. No credit please.
For the morning trip - Please arrive to the church by 8:15 a.m. The bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. Bus will return you back to the church by 1:30 p.m.
For the evening trip - Please arrive to the church by 5:15 p.m. The bus will leave at 5:30 p.m. Bus will return you back to the church after the Sons of Thunder service.
