New Philadelphia will host the Lenten Caravan here on Wednesday, April 3rd, 7:00 p.m.
Pastor Walker will preach the closing Lenten Caravan service on Wednesday, April 17th, 7:00 p.m. at Bethel AME Church, 7900 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles. (The entire Caravan schedule will be available next Sunday.)

The Bridge Builders Foundation Scholarship Program annually awards educational scholarships for minority youth based on their commitment to attend a four-year college, their civic and community involvement, and their scholarly attainments and aspirations. The program awards initial scholarships for current graduating high school seniors and continuing renewal scholarships for those continuing their education at a 4-year college. The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) is providing Scholarship Awards to students pursuing higher education in Criminal Justice Administration or related fields. NOBLE is pleased to offer a one-time scholarship award of $1,000 each, to six (6) graduating high school seniors who have a career interest in criminal justice, or a related field and (4) college students currently studying criminal justice, or a related field at an accredited college or university. Information is available in the Foyer.

The Missionary Society could not have accomplished this without your outpouring of love and generosity. The Marina Renee Gordon Missionary Society has again partnered with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) with their 2018 White Ribbon Campaign. We were given 100 names of children who are currently under the care of DCFS and we are thankful that all have been distributed to our Nu Philly family. We thank you for your generosity. Your Christmas gift, gift cards should be placed in a gift bag and return to the church today. There is a box in the foyer to place your gifts.
