Presenters from CSU, Long Beach will offer valuable information, and answer your financial aid questions. Parents, it’s not to soon to start. Congratulations to Donald Taylor, Composer/Director, and the LA Mass Choir. They are the recipients of the “National/Heritage Gospel Music Living Legends Tribute and Legacy Keeper Award”. Donald is the Director of our ‘Women of Praise’.

Rev. Hodges will meet with interested persons today after the 7:30 a.m. service in the Bilbrew Educational Center, 1st floor classroom.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month


The Evelyn Louise Edwards (E.L.E.) College Care Package Committee thanks those who have blessed us with financial donations. Because of you, this program continues to thrive. Special thanks to the committee members who donated their time to assemble the packages. The 1st care packages of this school year have been mailed, and our students should receive them this week. Calling all Teachers, Teachers Aides, Counselors, Administrators and Retired School Staff. Planning for our Education and Tutoring Ministry is beginning, and we want you to be a part of it. Rev. Hodges will meet with interested persons today, after the 10:00 a.m. service, and next Sunday, October 16th, after the 7:30 a.m. service. Both brief meetings will be held in the Bilbrew Educational Center, 1st floor classroom. We look forward to seeing you there.

Next Sunday, October 16, 2016 is Pink Sunday, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. All members are ask to wear Pink. The Health & Wellness Ministry will have health information pamphlets and other items available.

The 92nd Session of the Southern California Annual Conference begins on October 23rd and conclude on Sunday, October 30th. The 5th District Planning Meeting is on October 31st and November 1st.

Pastor Walker will give his report to the conference on Friday morning, October 28th at approximately 10:00 a.m. ALL members are ask to join the Pastor & First Lady at this reading. Bus transportation will be available. Please sign-up in the Foyer.

On Saturday, October 29th at 6:00 p.m., New Philadelphia AME, along with Christ Our Redeemer AME will host the 160 voice Tokyo Mass Choir.

All sessions will be held at the Hilton Hotel LAX, 5711 W. Century Blvd., Los Angeles.
